Public Health programs that include: Primary Care and Preventative Health Care; Dental Health Services; Speech and Hearing Services; Environmental Health Services; Health Promotion/ Health Education Services; WIC, Immunizations, TB, blood pressure and diabetic screening, child health conferences, family planning, HIV/AIDS screening and counseling, dental screenings, speech and language screenings and therapy. Most are free, some on a sliding scale fee, WIC program available to women, infants and children. Environmental and community programs for sewage disposal, complaint investigation, food inspections, day care inspections, food handler’s instructions, school instructions, swimming pool inspection, surveillance of private water supplies, disaster information, rabies surveillance, lead assessments and vital records (birth and death certificates).
